Support for disclosing information to shareholders

Comprehensive analysis of climate change risks in the customer's business region.

In recent years, there has been a growing demand from stakeholders for businesses to disclose the impacts of climate change on their operations. Since our customers' business activities span the globe, the scope of the climate change impact assessment required, including business locations, logistics networks, and supply chains, becomes enormous.
Our company has a proven track record of conducting thorough assessments of climate change risks within Toyota Tsusho's global network in accordance with TCFD *1 and SSBJ *2 , in order to disclose them in our securities reports.
Note *1 : TCFD stands for Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures, which provided a framework for companies to disclose climate change risks and opportunities as financial information. Although TCFD ceased operations in October 2023, its principles have been carried over to the ISSB *3 standards.
Note *2 : SSBJ stands for Sustainability Standards Board of Japan, an organization that develops Japanese sustainability disclosure standards.
Note *3 : ISSB stands for International Sustainability Standards Board. It develops internationally common standards for disclosing sustainability-related information to investors.
